Sandesh is a non-profit organization established in 2008 for people with Intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our aim is to empower and dignify intellectually disabled individuals. We work to achieve through an inclusive environment that provides opportunity for the intellectual disabled to explore individual potential.
Our activities include:
 Rehabilitation & Therapeutic care program: A care department for members with profound and severe disability.
 Early Education: We give specific training in academics and therapies above the developmental age of 5.
 Early Intervention- This is an outreach program where three of our staff go outreach and the children come to Sandesh for specific intervention and training.
 Pre-vocational unit- activities based on supporting skill development, that will be needed for vocational training. This time is important as it makes the individual gain skills required for work.
 Sheltered workshop/vocational training centre- Teaching work skills & discipline and hand work that supports the members to earn a small stipend monthly. This is a big achievement. We produce lamp shades, note books, greeting cards, candles and many more. All are products can compete with any product from the market.
 Counselling for parents- A support system for the parents/families. A place for them to share their views, fears and anxiety.
 Garden Project- Time with the soil and the plants. This project is meant to be more in Therapeutic needs of our members. We do hope that this project will grow and also be beneficial in giving good organic vegetables to our community.

We started with 2 beneficiaries in 2010, We have 65 members now. None of our people with disability have left the institute but for those that moved out of Bengaluru. In addition, all those from pre-vocational have successfully transitioned to sheltered workshop.
We have a 5 members independent board.
We have valid 80G,12A, Pan, Tan, Darpan and FCRA certifications. We are registered under Disability Act of 1995.
