There are more than 15 million people in India with some form of intellectual and developmental disability. This means that there are at least 30 million parents looking for information and resources to help their child. It is Nayi Disha’s endeavour to be a facilitator that brings various resources – both information resources and human resources – closer to the family by building a digital ecosystem for Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD). We believe that more empowered parents would be able to provide a superior quality of life for their children.
As Nayi Disha continues to expand, we need to find more skilled resources to enhance our digital platform, conduct additional field visits and surveys, develop content, and conduct parent empowerment workshops and other events. Nayi Disha relies on private contributions, corporate donations and foundation grants to fund these activities and ultimately support our commitment to the families and their loved ones.
If you find our idea appealing and recognise the importance of building an information resource, please consider making a donation. Your donation – however big or small – matters, will help us towards our vision.
Donations are tax deductible in India under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Donors’ PAN numbers are required for donations of INR 5,000 and above.
Corporates could partner with us in different ways:
